Profile:
The wine has an intense deep garnet colour. Dark, heady aromas of cassis and blueberries emanate from the glass with hints of violets and cigar box. Intense dark berry fruit flavours dominate the palate with tobacco spice notes and fresh herbs. The mid-palate is complete, leading to firm, dry tannins with a lingering finish with hints of toasted oak and roasted almonds. Best served with roast meats or Melanzane alla Parmigiana.
