The 2023 vintage followed a long, cold winter and slow, even spring, ideal for Pinot Noir’s delicate growth cycle. Mild summer temperatures and cool evenings encouraged gradual ripening and flavour concentration. Grapes were hand-harvested and fermented in small open-top fermenters with gentle punchdowns, while a portion of whole bunches was included for aromatic lift and added structure. The wine matured for 14 months in seasoned French oak and was bottled unfined and unfiltered to preserve natural character.
