This powerful and concentrated wine boasts with bold flavours of raspberry, maraschino cherry and ripe plums intertwined with the subtle notes of cedar wood. The nose and palate are supported by dense, fine-grained tannins that end in a clean, lingering mouth feel.

This is a rich concentrated wine with perfumed fragrances of raspberry, maraschino cherry, ripe plum, and cedar wood. The nose and palate are supported by dense, fine-grained tannins that end in a long, clean, lingering mouth-feel.

Vinification:

The grapes were harvested at 25.5°B. First cold soaked and then inoculated. Fermented at 26 - 28°C for about 5 days. Pumped over 3 times daily during alcoholic fermentation. Malolactic fermentation took place in barrels. The wine spent a total of 22 months in new and 2nd fill French oak barrels.
